In UNFOLDING, three female faces appear within a web of expressive lines, delicate colour and controlled chaos. Each seems to look in a different direction, yet they remain connected — different expressions of one evolving identity.
The painting is created using Ole Hedeager’s distinctive figurative drip-painting technique. Working above a canvas placed horizontally, he drips and guides the paint from a spatula through movements of the hand and wrist. The tool never touches the canvas.
The result is a work in which figurative precision meets spontaneity: every line is created through movement, gravity and control.
